Certified Immigration Document Translation

Immigration cases often include documents in Spanish or another language — birth and marriage certificates, passports, national IDs, police records. USCIS asks that a foreign-language document be submitted with a full English translation and the translator's certification that it is complete and accurate and that the translator is competent to translate from the foreign language into English (8 CFR 103.2(b)(3)). We prepare certified translations that way, with a signed certification of accuracy for each one.

The same is true of many supporting documents for an immigrant visa through consular processing, where the Department of State and the consulate publish their own document instructions — follow those.
